Overview

Digital Buddy is a Telegram-based assistant that helps users reflect on goals, remember useful context, receive optional nudges, and optionally connect Google Calendar for schedule-aware support.

Information We Process

When you use Digital Buddy, we may process your Telegram identifier, messages sent to the bot, onboarding answers, language, timezone, goals, communication preferences, and activity or progress entries you choose to share.

If you connect Google Calendar, we store an encrypted Google refresh token and the granted OAuth scopes. We may retrieve calendar names, calendar identifiers, and near-term event titles and times to provide calendar-related functionality.

How We Use Information

We use your information to operate the bot, personalize replies, maintain short-term and long-term memory, support goal tracking, provide proactive nudges when enabled, and perform requested calendar actions.

Google Calendar data is used only for user-facing calendar features inside Digital Buddy. Calendar content is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train third-party AI models by Digital Buddy.

Analytics

The public website may later use privacy-conscious analytics to understand page visits and CTA clicks. Analytics should not include Telegram chat contents, Telegram IDs, or personal bot memories.

Storage and Security

Refresh tokens are encrypted before storage. Application data is stored in the service database and accessed only to operate and maintain Digital Buddy. No security system is perfect, but the service is designed to minimize unnecessary retention.

Your Choices

You can disconnect Google Calendar from the bot with /calendar disconnect. You can reset your bot profile and stored memories with /reset. You can stop using the bot at any time by removing or blocking it in Telegram.
